Thanks for the reply,

The problem is I can`t even boot into the operating system since the
video output stops after the scsi_proc_hostdir problem.

1)

For information I used the following iso`s:

- ubuntu-6.10-server-i386.iso
- ubuntu-6.06.1-server-i386.iso
- ubuntu-6.06-server-i386.iso ( older version of LTS )

They all come up with the same error while trying to boot the kernel.

2) I am not able to run this command with the raid controller attached,
since video output stops at loading the kernel

3) Same as 2.
