I've get exactly the same problem with a Lucent silver card with
2.6.20-14-powerpc in a Apple Wallsteet Powerbook.

Adding "reserve=0xfd000000,0xffffff" didn't seem to change anything.

As an aside this combination of hardware did work with earlier versions
of Ubuntu (5.04 PPC).
