I upgraded my son's computer to edgy (by setting the /apt/sources.list and running apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade), and sound doesn't work at all after the upgrade. I haven't had time to experiment with it. -- sound doesn't work (via 8233/ac97) https://launchpad.net/bugs/6032
