[Bug 63125] [edgy] X crashes when logging in running linux-generic-2.6.17-10

Binary package hint: linux-generic

X crashes when logging in. Might be that the crash occurs when the
window manager (in my case compiz) is started.

This only happens with the kernel 2.6.17-10, under 2.6.17-9 it works
flawlessly.
