Tis occurs alson on edgy with an dell inspiron 640m .
To fix remove de cell battery : instructions found here http://support.euro.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/ins640m/en/SM/coinbatt.htm#wp1123661

and run the bios setup to set new values .

but is there a fix for under edgy ?
