iMac G5 rev C. It boots up nicely but as soon as xwindows starts it is black only. It is possible to log into gnome, but still only black. Fan starts to sound like a vaccum cleaner after a minute or so. -- iMac G5 will freeze after booting up https://launchpad.net/bugs/23445
