If I have my USB DVD drive on, then when linux boot, I have:
Uncompressing Linux... Ok, booting the kernel.
And nothing happens.
When it is off, It works fine.
When I put it on, dmesg give me:

My motherboard is a P4P800-E deluxe from ASUS.
My DVD drive is IDE but I put it inside a USB<->IDE box from
connectland.
I have tested a lot of kernel image and it happens always.
This problem is minor because I can boot by switching off my DVD drive.
** Affects: linux-meta (Ubuntu)
Importance: Untriaged
Status: Unconfirmed
