Very similar problem here, automounting a 1GB Kingston DataTraveller
U3usb flash drive.  (Other generic USB flash drives automount
instantly.)

Dmesg shows long loops of 'new device' before the device is finally
correctly identified and added after a couple of minutes wait.

I'll attach dmesg tail, the first 178 or so lines are just looping!

Once found and mounted the drive appears to work OK.

Ejecting works as normal.
