Public bug reported:
I am using my notebook HP Compaq nc6230 with the external monitor Fujitsu Siemens 5110 FA connected via docking station and DVI. The notebook has the ATI Radeon Mobility M300 graphics card and I have to use the proprietary drivers in order to make the external monitor work.
In Breezy, I could suspend/hibernate and wake again without any problems even when using the external monitor. In Dapper it doesn't work anymore. Upon waking up, the notebook freezes. It works though when the notebook is not connected to the docking station.
** Affects: linux-source-2.6.15 (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: Unconfirmed
