[Bug 21778] Atheros driver crashes in Breezy

Public bug reported:

I am using Ubuntu (+Kubuntu) Breezy with latest updates. When I insert my
Netgear-card it is detected by the kernel. However, when I start any actions
(e.g. iwlist scan) the driver crashes. Afterwards it is impossible to us the
sudo command successfully. Furthermore the systems now hangs during
shhutdown/reboot during the network config.Please find attached the
dmesg-output, the lsmod and lspci as well as the uname output.
