Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.17-10-generic

Hi,

i´ m trying to use susend2disk on my thinkpad t40 on kubuntu-edgy
(this worked great on dapper drake).
Suspending works great, but after pressing the powerbutton
to resume the system edgy boots up without resuming the system.

Looking in the dmesg-messages showed me, that the swap-signature
is broken. After performing a "mkswap /dev/mapper/kubuntu-swap" and a "swapon -a" swap work properly....the init-scripts didn´ t show any error while booting in the ubuntu- splash-screen.

This problem is reproducable everytime i do a suspend2disk.
I would be happy to help you to find this problem - if you have any
instruction for detailed debugging - send me instructions....

Thanks for maintaining ubuntu

Best regards

Marc Schoechlin
