It happends for me in Edgy Final for a few processors. I have a
Pentium-M and can't use kernel "-generic" because the system is very
very slow and the "ondemand" governor doesn't work.

The problem can be related to ACPI, I saw a few messages saying that
I've got "NO PROCESSOR".
