[Bug 67487] Re: [edgy][regression][ati] Black screen and consoles

I have upgraded from dapper to edgy with alternate cd (no Net access) changed to egdy in sources.list and went on apt-get dist-upgrade.
Everything went ok till i got note that my gdm wont work.
I tried dpkg-reconfigure and still same thing.
i have access to consoles from 1-7. 

I'm using ATI RADEON 9550SE 
Intel P4 2Ghz, 256ram.
