Hm, I've suspended ten times now with this kernel, and nine times resume 
worked perfectly. The tenth time, resume didn't work (I had just concluded it 
did work, and suspended with a big xemacs session running), but it didn't 
give the remount read-only bug, just no resume. Still, the batting is well 
above average compared to the dapper kernel I was using.
