Same problem.

If i unplug the network cable and reconnect, the network works again.!!!
When it fails. there's no output, only input (i used iptraf to see the packets, i tested sending packets from other computer, no response, but iptraf can see the incoming packet)

I asked for this on the forum and there are more like us:

it's only a Dapper problem, Breezy, Hoary, other linuxes and Windows XP
works properly.

I changed DHCP to Static IP address, but the problem continues, one
minute (or less) and there's no more connection. If i want to
renegotiate the DHCP, simply i can't.

Upgraded from Hoary to Dapper on 2006-05-27 (last update)

the Ethernet is an CNET Pro100
