[Bug 47186] no power off after shutdown

This might be related to https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source
/linux-source-2.6.15/+bug/43961, but the last message I have is:

[4294730.998000]ppdev:user-space parallel port driver

After I hit power off button, few more messages come up (like in regular
shutdown procedure, untill "Will now halt"), but there is no power off.
All I can do is to switch between ttys, but no other keyboard actions
work.
