Hello,

I have the same problem with Dapper LTS in my Toshiba Tecra8100: Last
message: Will now halt      OK and then I have to manually switch off
power. Something similar happens with hibernatination: screen goes
blank, some disk activity, but an external WD usb disk remains on until
I press the power switch. However, it seems to work: the system
apparently boots from saved information. Upgraded from Breezy where
everything worked fine.
