Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nic-pcmcia-modules-2.6.15-23-386-di

Hi,
I've got a "Siemens Scenic 320 - Laptop" with an Intel Pentium I 166MHz and 32MB RAM;-). I want to run (test) xUbuntu on this Computer. Because of the low memory the installer entered the "Low memory mode". This Laptop needs a PCMCIA-Card to connect to the network. So i have to load the PCMCIA-Modules. But the installer aborts loading the modules with unknown reasons. The detaild message calls:
"Loading nic-pcmcia-modules-2.6.15-23-386-di faild for unknown reasons. Aborting". I used "xubuntu-6.06-rc-alternate-i386.iso", the md5sum was correct.

Thanks,
Ubuntu rocks.

** Affects: linux-source-2.6.15 (Ubuntu)
       Severity: Normal
       Priority: (none set)
         Status: Unconfirmed
