[Bug 38865] Re: sky2 driver freezing system after ifdown and ifup

I have the same problem: my network card (Marvell 88E8036 Fast Ethernet
Controller with sky2 driver) stops working upon file transfers (in my
case, transferring from an NFS-mounted file system to a local one).
Ifdown/ifup does not solve the problem after a freeze, only rebooting
does. I had posted this as a comment to Bug #40282 before, but the two
problems seem to be related, so I repost here.
