This was an installer bug; the fix is not susceptible to updates. Put
RESUME=/dev/whatever (where /dev/whatever is your swap device) in
/etc/mkinitramfs/conf.d/resume by hand; if that does not work then it is
*not* this bug, and is perhaps bug 43114 instead.
