after the upgrade from breezy to dapper (kernel 2.6.15.23), my external ps/2 mouse also stopped working on my IBM Thinkpad T21. The external keyboard is working properly. -- ps/2 mouse not recognized on IBM X21 laptop https://launchpad.net/bugs/38031
