[Bug 41061] Re: aic7xxx fails to load

I updated to 2.6.15-23 last night, and still no luck. Still hangs
waiting for the root partition.... To elaborate on my system a slight
bit, my controller is the Intel ICH6 Sata controller.

I am running two custom kernels (since I can't get headers for the
Ubuntu kernels 19 or 20) -  2.6.16ck9 and 2.6.17rc3... both boot and
work fine.
