I don't know for Shun but for me disabling Cool'n' quiet sorted the problem out. I tested Dapper kernel up to 20 I think. I can't do more tests, I'm not using Ubuntu as my main Linux distrib anymore. I might reinstall it with the release. -- radeon/amd64 random hangs https://launchpad.net/bugs/9713
