[Bug 45884] linux-image-2.6.15-23-powerpc freezes on pbook

Public bug reported:

after upgrading to 2.6.15-23, my 15" dec05 pbook freezes when switching
away from the xwindows to a virtual text console (this also happens when
system is shutting down)

it seems to be related to xorg <-> framebuffer interaction

2.6.15-22 still works fine
