Public bug reported:

Hibernate fails to resume on a machine with raid 1 disks. The relevant
message from the kernel log appears to be:

Attempting manual resume
Freezing cpus ...
Stopping tasks: ===========
 stopping tasks failed (1 tasks remaining)
Restarting tasks...<6> Strange, md0_resync not stopped
done
Thawing cpus ...

After trying a few times, the message is almost always the same, sometimes with md0_resync and sometimes with md1_resync. The filesystem layout is as follows, where both md0 and md1 are raid 1 devices.

/dev/md0 on / type reiserfs (rw)
/dev/sda2 on /boot type ext2 (rw)
/dev/md1 on /home type reiserfs (rw)

** Affects: linux-source-2.6.15 (Ubuntu)
       Severity: Normal
       Priority: (none set)
         Status: Unconfirmed

** Attachment added: "Full log from failed resume (md0_resync)"
