[Bug 45800] marvel ethernet stops working

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.15-23-k7

Since upgrading to this kernel image, ethernet connection works
initially but eventually freezes.  No problems if I boot up in
2.6.15-22-k7.

AMD 64 x2 on AOpen EZ482.  Ethernet chipset: Marvel.
