Apparenty, the command that is raising this error is hwclock. Then, a woraround is ridding off hwclock as a service. Just execute this line: rm /etc/rc*/*hwclock* -- Ubuntu corrupts real time clock on some dell laptops https://launchpad.net/bugs/43745
