If it is going to take longer than usual to update linux-restricted- modules, just downgrande linux-image-* to .22 until restricted modules are ready to go. This would avoid Xorg and other devices from stop working. -- linux-restricted-modules-k7 is outdated https://launchpad.net/bugs/45527
