I seem to have the same problem here with:

0000:00:1b.0 0403: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) High
Definition Audio Controller (rev 01)

cat /proc/asound/card0/pcm0p/sub0/info | grep name
name: ALC260 Analog

...at least I think so, since it is a ALC260 as well.

Using dapper, daily updated-no sound, no errors
