[Bug 45204] Kernel 2.6.15 doesn't boot

Hello,

I have try an upgrade to dapper from ubuntu. After the upgrade I reload
my desktop computer and the kernel 2.6.15-22-686 hangs on "Loading
hardware drivers...", nothing works and I have to restart the computer
with the reset button.

- I download the dapper drake LiveCD, the same thing happen, hangs on "Loading hardware drivers".
 
- I download the dapper drake Install CD, the same thing happen.

- I try  to boot the LiveCD, Install CD and the kernel with acpi=off and
noapic, but it's the same.

The kernel 2.6.12-10-686 from the breezy install works well.

I have no message to give because the computer completely freeze.
