I still have this bug, however, instead of freezing the whole system
now, it just shuts down my networking, and I have to reboot to get it
running again. I'm using 686 2.6.15-22.34 . I don't know if this will
help but the last entry on dmesg before the crash is "ibm_acpi: ec
object not found". I'm gonna turn acpi off on next reboot and retest.
