[Bug 44761] powernow-k8 fails on dual core (smp) system

powernow-k8 fails on my dual core amd64x2 system with the following:

[  101.646893] powernow-k8: Found 2 AMD Athlon 64 / Opteron processors (version 1.50.4)
[  101.646850] powernow-k8: MP systems not supported by PSB BIOS structure
[  101.646927] powernow-k8: MP systems not supported by PSB BIOS structure

I've managed to get the impression that it should work, hence this
filing. Will test suggestions.
