Hmm ... lspci shows "0000:00:1b.0 0403: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7
Family) High Definition Audio Controller (rev 02)."  I thought 82801G
referred to the sound chip somehow, but I see that almost everything on
this laptop, as listed by lspci, has 82801G somewhere in the
description, so it must be something Intel made up.
