[Bug 44229] drm kernel modules update

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.15

Using the "ati" driver (not fglrx) :
Xorg.0.log complaints about drm module's version : actually it is 1.19, and it advises to update to 1.23 for full memory mapping...
Is it possible to update, or are we too late in the dev cycle ?
