[Bug 33716] Re: System freeze with [SiS] USB 2.0

Have the same problem with a msi board sis648fx chipset: having my labtec webcam inserted, the kernel stops on booting while recognizing the usb ports, unplugging before the next boot let the system boot up normal. On the running system plugging the webcam or my sandisk cruzer mini 256mb the whole system freezes, no response. Kernel: 2.6.15-22-686. Note: before updating from kernel 2.6.15-20-686 the usb memory stick worked fine on kubuntu, the webcam never worked, i tested both usb devices on kanotix and they are working fine.
