...Additionally, even if the pbbuttonsd issue is fixed, because there is poor support for the nvida GeForce 5200GO used in the more recent Powerbooks (as there are no proprietry drivers for ppc) it seems that there is no way to reactivate the display, so sleep has been disabled:
