I upgraded to Dapper so I can test more easily now. I can confirm: after the first suspend/resume cycle the keyboard is dead. Every suspend/resume cycle after that the keyboard keeps working. -- external usb keyboard dead after suspend/resume https://launchpad.net/bugs/36119
