Public bug reported:
Affects: linux-source-2.6.15 (Ubuntu)
Severity: Normal
Priority: (none set)
Status: Unconfirmed
Description:
I have a Belkin F5D6020 orinoco-based wireless card that used to work
fine under breezy (plug it in, tell network manager to connect to a
given wireless network, get dhcp address and go). I just did a dapper
update on the Thinkpad T22 I've got here, and it no longer works when I
hotplug it.
It _does_ however work when the card is plugged in before boot. Network
manager no longer works, but that's a different bug, I think (though
perhaps not).
I've tried both orinoco_cs and hostap_cs and neither work when the card
is hotplugged, and both work when the card is "coldplugged".
I'm guessing there's some issue with the T22's PCMCIA hardware vs.
2.6.15?
