[Bug 30283] Ubuntu Kernel keeps hard disk light on constantly

Description:
Ubuntu breezy 5.10 makes my hard disk light stay on always. This does
not happen on other distros or on custom kernels.

My hardware

120 gb SATA HD
Intel chipset
