Scanning my disc takes 12 hours or so since finding a bad blocks disable
DMA. I will copy a dmesg output of a Breezy Live CD kernel as soon as I
have time to rescan my disc.
The kernel I used back then, 2.6.15-16 or so, I don't remember, did not
seem to oops or panic : the computer freezed and no messages were left
in the logs. I really mean NO messages. I won't be able to give you
more info about that version since I upgraded to 2.6.15-21 lately.
I did not try to scan bad blocks with my current dapper kernel
2.6.15-21-k7. I'll try that a send more info as soon as its done.
