Altought VAIO FE series has same ICH7 controler of SZ series, it seems that has different IO addresses, so that when inserting the patched sonypi, it fails with this error message:
sonypi: Sony Programmable I/O Controller Driver v1.26.
sonypi: detected type3 model, verbose = 0, fnkeyinit = off, camera = off, compat = off, mask = 0xffffffff, useinput = on, acpi = on
sonypi: enabled at irq=11, port1=0x1080, port2=0x1084
sonypi: device allocated minor is 61
input: Sony Vaio Jogdial as /class/input/input8
input: Sony Vaio Keys as /class/input/input9
sonypi command failed at drivers/char/sonypi.c : sonypi_call1 (line 647)
sonypi command failed at drivers/char/sonypi.c : sonypi_call2 (line 658)
sonypi command failed at drivers/char/sonypi.c : sonypi_call2 (line 660)
sonypi command failed at drivers/char/sonypi.c : sonypi_call1 (line 647)
I also noticed that, instead of linking devices to input 4 and 5, it creates two new devices, wich, I think, link to wrong I/O ports.
