[Bug 37243] Will not resume from hibernation or sleep

Description:
I am using a pentium 4 system with the latest dapper installed, and the
-686 kernel.  When I sleep or hibernate, my computer falls asleep as
expected.  But, I can not wake it up.  No matter what I try:  keyboard,
mouse, power button, nothing will wake it up.  I must shut the computer
down by harmfully turning it off.

Another note:  After I turn off my system because I can't wake it up,
sometimes I get some strange issues.  If I turn it off and back on
without waiting a while, my keyboard will not work.  It will not work in
X or GRUB, and the CAPS LOCK light does not change when pressing CAPS
LOCK.

I am ready and willing to provide more imformation to solve this
problem, just let me know what you need to know.
