Most of these problems are fixed in the upstream bcm43xx and softmac codebases.

Ubuntu people, please sync with upstream to get more recent fixes from there!  Join #bcm-dev in irc.freenode.net or ask at https://lists.berlios.de/mailman/listinfo/bcm43xx-dev if you have any questions.

Fedora seems to be shipping a recent enough version of bcm43xx that its users don't complain too much in a dev kernel, and it's surely more recent and stable than the one Ubuntu ships.

Because I believe that most of these bugs can be fixed by upgrading to upstream, I will merge many bcm43xx-related bugs.  Please update the bcm43xx and ieee80211softmac to more recent upstream!
