Public bug reported:
https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/36583

Affects: linux-source-2.6.15 (Ubuntu)
       Severity: Normal
       Priority: (none set)
         Status: Unconfirmed

Description:
The 2.6.15 AMD64 kernel fails to boot on ASUS A6Km laptop when an USB
mouse is connected. The boot hangs on the following line:

ACPI: setting ELCR to 0200 (from 0c30)

This has been tested with two different brand mice. Both of them work
fine when connected to a running system, or even a booting system which
has passed the line above.

Booting with noapic or does not help. Turning ACPI off completely
(acpi=off) does, so this might be an ACPI bug.
