[Bug 34976] Orinoco gold wireless card isn't detected correctly/installed

This problem looks like the one where both the hostap and regular
orinocco modules are loaded for the card.

I fixed this on my laptop by blacklisting hostap, and I know the
upstream kernel incorporated a fix for this (making hostap not declare
that it can drive the card). Has this fix gone into the ubuntu kernel?
