[Bug 14294] on powerbook sound successively quieter until unaudible

This problem is similar to the issue with 'SB Live/Audigy Analog/Digital
Output Jack' and 'External Amplifier': Some models require it to be
muted, others, unmuted.

The best that can be done probably is to amend documentation stating
that 'DRC' needs to be toggled if sound is inaudible outright.
