[Bug 35444] freeze

after installing dapper again, and updating him, the freeze stays away.
If I install nvidia-glx with its dependency's the freeze come's back. If
I boot into single mode everything works fine, but when I let him enter
"init 2" the freeze happens again.

So with nvidia, everything works in single, but I have a bash running as
root...
