[Bug 35036] No Thermal Fan support for PowerMac G5 1.8

Description:
Dapper Drake (Flight 5) does not seem to have any support for the
control of the CPU fans on my PowerMac G5 1.8 single processor.  They
ramp up to full throttle during the boot phase and run non-stop at that
speed until shut down.

It appears that the iMac G5 is also affected -
