Hi,
My HP Pavilion dv5000 does not boot without "acpi=off noapic" on the
kernel command line. I am using a snapshot of Drapper AMD64 from
2006-03-08.

Note: I typed this in manually so there may be typos in it

When booting with "acpi=off noapic" the computer boots and works almost
flawless except for that the battery state is always 0%. I haven't
tested the modem and the wireless connection though.
