Description:
I had to manually add my drives to FSTAB in order to mount them on boot
and then do not show in desktop, places or computer

fstab entries are

/dev/hde1	/media/fat1	vfat	uid=alex	0	0
/dev/hdf1	/media/fat2	vfat	uid=alex	0	0
